Opening of the new “Auf der Schmelz” park

We’re thrilled to unfold culture at the opening of Vienna’s newest green space — the future “Auf der Schmelz” park in the heart of the 15th district!

About the new park: previously sealed ground will be transformed into a green oasis with 30 new trees, shaded pergolas and over 700 m² of lawns and plant beds. Visitors can relax on benches, cool off at a drinking fountain and enjoy barrier-free paths. A large calisthenics zone and multiple play and fitness areas make it ideal for movement and community life.
